In either case, sometimes he runs from poignant to funny to silly and right back around to poignant. I really like this strip.

I must confess, I didn't quite get the "Epoch Fail" gag until I saw it on Fail Blog.

I'm sure it's all been done before, but I don't care. You don't really need to read the preceeding strips for this one to make any sense, but I really like this one. It's a little too wordy to make it onto a shirt, I guess.

it's a perfect opportunity to wear a shirt from xkcd's store, specifically the one titled "Witty".
