a little moment of "a ha!"
Oct. 12th, 2004 10:37 pmI got home around seven this evening and noticed the TV signal was gone. I shrugged; there's nothing on TV at present that I particularly want to watch, plus I've a few DVDs that I recently acquired but haven't yet sat down to view. Having fed myself I sat down with book 2 of Transmetropolitan (damn you all to hell you people who said I'd like this, because I do, and it's €20 per book) and read most of it. Getting up to make tea I noticed it wasn't yet 9pm, and yet I felt like I'd been reading for ages.
Duh.
Obviously pouring Warren Ellis into your brane for any given period of time is a bit more intense than, say, watching the Simpsons.
I like this. I might give the idea of punting TV receiption entirely a bit more thought.
