amazon phone interview #3
Jun. 24th, 2005 07:23 pmThe interview was scheduled for 6pm local. The phone rang *once* at 6:36, and hasn't rung again since. I can only assume that confusion is reigning in Seattle, since the previous call was an hour and fifteen minutes late due to unspecified "confusion" on their part. Oh well. I guess I'll just mosey on in to their office on Monday for the face-to-face and see how that goes.
what I learned from my Amazon interview
Jun. 9th, 2005 07:23 pmI really need to learn more about the Linux kernel before mentioning that I've done kernel-level debugging (I have, but.) Sigh. Not really expecting much more than a PFO from that.

- What are the three packets which establish a TCP session?
- How many machines can you put in a /17 network (method of calculating will suffice)
