cognitive dissonance
Jun. 25th, 2004 02:00 amI caught a bit of the RTÉ Bush Interview earlier. Dubya went out of his way to comment on and praise the support he was getting from "a neighbour of yours, the United Kingdom". This was right after he mentioned that he doesn't pay attention to polls and other such things that might appraise the less sure person of the current state of affairs. Oh, and apparently he's not just making decisions for America's benefit, oh no, his decisions are, in his own words, to improve the world. Good job, that..
