Labour's finance spokesperson Joan Burton said it would be in the 'public and democratic interest' for Revenue to state whether statements made by the Taoiseach about his dealings with them were accurate. (link)

You know, I'd like to think our politicians are fair and all, so I fully support this request. As long as it's applied to all occupants of the house, including Ms. Burton.

After all, let him (or her) who is without fault cast the first stone and all that.

Listening to someone's mix MP3 this evening I stumbled across Frank Stallone's "Far From Over" which apparently showed up on the Stayin' Alive soundtrack; I've no idea where I first came across it, but it has the most awesomely over-the-top instrumental solo. If you can dig up a copy it's worth a listen for that alone.
