the muse hits --more--

Every so often a fragment or two of a lyric drops into my head, and I tend to keep a pen and something to write on close at hand to make a note in case I can build something out of it later. However, I don't ever recall the muse visiting me while I was shaving before. And trying to write down the verse without getting lather on everything was tricky. Dear Muse, please time things better, thanks.

Of course, as John has previously noted, I tend not to finish anything I start writing. So it probably doesn't matter if I miss a few here and there, I guess.
