unexpected work hazards

In order to reconfigure the terminal, you need to access the admin menus.
In order to access the admin menus, you need to power-cycle the terminal and then press the admin button.
In order to power-cycle the terminal, you need to pull out its power connector and replace it.
In order to reach the power connector, you need to lift the rather heavy faceplate it's attached to the back of.
In order to lift the faceplate while you're holding a phone to your ear, you need to slide your arm in under it and lever upward at the same time.
( The terminal needs a LOT of reconfiguring. )
