do any of you have an lj style - either stock or self-made - that copes well with people posting wide stuff to their journals, i.e. you don't end up having to scroll your friends page right to read EVERY SINGLE ENTRY for a couple of days?

I was trying to describe the sound of the keyboard used in SugaBabes' In The Middle last night, and having gone through a somewhat technical description (including a comparison to a Stevie Wonder track) I said, "it's kind of like an electronic duck".
