Feb. 26th, 2004 10:54 amThe odd thing about the Tory party member who made a joke about the recent deaths in Morecambe bay is that the exact same thing happened some years back when a Townsend Thorsen ferry capsized in the English Channel with a fairly significant loss of life. Not very long after the accident, a Tory MP made some comment in the House about some other MP "having his bow doors open", a reference to the cause of the accident. Weird that it seems to be a running thread in the party.
