suggestion re: use of telephone
Jan. 29th, 2004 12:00 pmWhen you dial an international number, and reach the wrong company, never mind the wrong desk, it is pointless lingering on the call any longer than it takes to establish that you've made a mistake either in dialling or your choice of number. The person you have reached most likely cannot help you. Especially if they say, "I'm sorry, I can't help you". Really. Hang up now.
