Internet Time, Irish Style

Esat BT sponsored this year's Young Scientist Exhibtion, which has been won by a student who has developed a browser that claims (independantly verified) to speed up browsing by up to 500%. This is all well and good, but the official website has, as of 21:04 on the day after the announcement was made, not been updated to reflect ANY of the winners. So you can browse it as fast as you like, but you won't find anything out, I presume, until tomorrow.

So I finally got all the bits of paper saying where I've hidden my pots of gold, etc. and added them up. And if I cashed it all in tomorrow - including the pension fund and the not-to-be-touched-for-another-four-years savings account - I've got enough to cover the deposit plus slack in case I don't get as much of a mortgage as I'm looking for. This is All Good, dammit.
