I've half a notion to run a 10k some time this year. Other than that, it's just my effort to not become a couch potato. I started running about two years ago, and I've been very haphazard about keeping up a regular schedule, but I've managed to do a low 22-minute 5k during that time. As well as some abysmal 29-minute 5k's when I started out. Despite my constant socialising and poor sleeping habits I seem to retain some measure of fitness without too much trouble.
