Pressing Business

I just spent the last two hours ironing. TWO HOURS. I hate ironing, so I avoid it until I have no pressed clothes and then I have to blitz a bunch of stuff. Half my wardrobe is full of wrinkled clothes that will probably have to be washed again before I can iron 'em flat. I have one solitary shirt that doesn't need ironing, but it's a bit loud for office wear (except on management-approved Casual Days™).

Steam, from a steam iron. I am all about simple things and minimal purchasing, except when it comes to electronics, where my alter ego DOCTOR SPENDO-MAXI takes over and melts my credit cards.

dude. spray starch is like a couple of bucks a can and saves you from having to re-wash things just so you can iron them.

I used spray starch and PAM and made ultracrepes for breakfast. You could see through them!

dudette, you know how people sometimes insist on solving your problems when all you're doing is bitching?

besides, you misfollow. When I say "simple", I don't mean "cheap". I mean I have one hair-care product instead ten, for example, because I don't see a pressing (ha, ha) need for more. I'm a consumer, but not a particularly enthusiastic one.

Except, as I said, when it comes to electronics.
