Well, that was certainly unexpected

So I went to check out the not-available-til-month-end house, and got locked into it with the estate agent due to a faulty door latch. Much hilarity ensued as various people turned up to try and view the place and discovered that the door didn't want to open from either side. Eventually I applied a little engineering know-how to the door and got the damned thing open (without breaking anything) and told the agent I'd be in touch.
