the beautiful game
I'm not much of a soccer fan: I'll watch Ireland play more often than not, and I like a game that displays skill rather than a hack-and-chop game. But last night, I don't think there was a single person in the bar ignoring the last twenty minutes of the Brazil - France match. It was an astounding display of skill, marred only slightly by a few theatrical dives.

beautiful french men, playing a beautiful game- what more could you want?
On a serious note, I watched the game in Paris- in an Irish Pub. Quite an experience- surrounded by French, speaking French, watching in France but the telecast was in English at the Irish pub. Only thing I didn't get was some a-holes threw their beers when they scored and when they won finally. But man, nail biting awesome game.
I actually thought the ref made only a few bad calls for most of the game but jeesh, man was he giving crap calls out toward the end against France. Even the instant replays showed a few super bad calls. Aren't they supposed to be super human or some shiat? Get some glasses...
