Just got a cold-call from someone who'd seen my CV on the web and is interested in talking me into a job. While I was on the phone I was googling for the company, but didn't find it until after the caller had hung up. Now I've found their website. Here's a snippet from the front page:

In October 2007, Tom plans to become Ireland's first astronaut space tourist when he rides into space aboard Virgin Galactic's VSS Enterprise, named after the starship in Star Trek, The Original Series. (link)

And it was Tom himself who phoned me. Interesting. "So as I said to Tom Higgins - you know, the space tourist guy - last week...".

Their HR person will be calling me at some point. Her name is Maxine Payne. Yes, gamer geeks, I am being called by MAX PAYNE.
