requirement

I'm reading CVs at the moment. What I'd like is to feed 'em into a scripty of some sort that would rate them for buzzword compliance so I could skip over the ones that talk about synergy and integrating vertical solutions and all that bollox without even opening them.

If you're applying for a job with my employer, bear in mind I may implement this. Cut the bullshit, just tell me why I should consider you for the job.

That would be unfair to the candidates who've had to cook their resumes with bizspeak to get themselves past the HR flunky.

Indeed, if we had a HR flunky.

Amazing. Damn near everywhere here you have to go through the damn things. One of them gave me a "concept interview" the other day, and decided 'no', without even looking at qualifications. (Dating a rejection letter the same day as the interview is quite rude, imho.)

Well, there are a dozen people in the company. It's not like we can afford a HR flunky. Or like we need one.

Point. (Though once that number gets to 40ish you may.)
