I've just watched The Transporter, a preposterous action movie that starts with a car chase and gets better/worse depending on your POV. The stunts are excellent, and the fight choreography must be intended to take the piss out of itself and the entire one-man-against-many genre because most people around me laughed during at least one of the sequences. I gotta admit, I'd have happily watched an entire 90 minutes of driving as displayed during the opening chase, but hey. The improbably lovestory was a bit too improbable and fitted, to borrow an image from AjD, about as well as a fully-loaded semi trailer on top of a cupcake. But who cares! Action, fights, exploding things, driving, parachuting, flying, the works. Great way to not think about anything for a while.

i loved that movie. i thought it was basically a perfect example of its genre -- not art, by any means, but a fabulous time nonetheless.

The Transporter == (Jackie Chan movie) - (Jackie Chan) + (that guy from Trainspotting)

Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you.

Maybe you mean Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels?

Come to think of it, maybe I do.
