Dear Handmark, your website sucks

I decided I'd actually shell out for Scrabble™ on my Palm, and duly went to the handmark.com website to pay. After creating an account for myself and taking two attempts to enter my credit card information (mandatory fields were not indicated, and my phone number has never been a mandatory field for a credit card purchase), it told me that the product is only available to customers in the US.

So I payed the ~€3.00 extra to buy it off the local Palm store.

Losers. Don't make me go all the way through your checkout procedure just so you can tell me I can't have the thing I'm trying to buy - TELL ME UP FRONT.

Handmark Site Still Sucks

I purchased an item from the store for my Blackberry. It delivers the application in a format that doesn't work with the Blackberry Desktop Manager's Application Loader (they only offer cod jad files, when the Loader is looking for alx files. This can't be the first time this has happened, but there's no help available on the web site. The FAQ that mentions anything close to this is less than worthless. Of course, Handmark's support staff is gone for the weekend and you can only send emails anyway. How do they stay in business?

I bought a My Little Tank game on the Blackberry AppWorld for $10. The game doesn't even work! Almost every time you shoot an enemy the game locks up and you have to do a full reset of the BB to kill the frozen app. I emailed Handmark support immediately after my purchase last night. It's now 15 hours later and still no reply to my support e-mail. I'm interested to see how they handle the situation.

Handmark continues to suck. I bought a WinMobile application from these clowns and it just doesn't run at all on my device, even though they claimed it was compatible. Logging a support question on their site results in no response and the question is marked "solved".
