at last, a silly quiz I feel like participating in

This is kinda nice, since I do like music a lot. I'm finding it hard to pick one song, so I've thrown in albums and bands as appropriate. Anyway. Click the linky thing to get to the list of songs.

Reminds you of an ex-lover: Strong Enough, Sheryl Crow (actually, there are a lot of these, but this is the best/worst)
Reminds you of an ex-friend: Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd
Makes you laugh: Anything by the Leningrad Cowboys, but especially the country and western version of Gimme All Your Lovin' with the Alexandrov Male Voice Choir as backing.
Makes you wanna dance: Block Rockin' Beats, Chemical Brothers
Reminds you of the one you want: Pure Morning, Placebo
Makes you wanna be politically active: Anything by Rage Against The Machine (they're Angry, they are)
You never want to hear again: Magic Moments (Val Doonican may be one of the culprits, but it's a much-covered song)
Makes you want to mosh/bang your head: Dead Cells, Papa Roach
Is the most offensive cover you've ever heard: Too many to list, really. The recent dance cover of Boys of Summer is pretty heinous, as is anything in that genre ("let's make a boppy pop-song out of this rock classic")
Sums up your teenage years: The entire Appetite for Destruction album, Guns'n'Roses
Sums up your life so far: Uh. I have a 3,500-track jukebox. I'm sure it's in there somewhere.
You used to hate but now love: I don't think I've got any music in this category. At all.
You like to wake up to: a few Dre/Eminem/Etc. tracks: Amityville, Just Don't Give A Fuck, Still Don't Give A Fuck (!), What's The Difference. Lots of anger and energy here, which is sorta what I need to get me kickstarted in the morning.
Reminds you of leaving: Leaving Las Vegas (Sheryl Crow) is pretty much the only thing that springs to mind.
You love that you wouldn't know about if it wasn't for a friend: The entire Juno Reactor album that Dr. Dave clued me in to.
Reminds you of your first girlfriend: Sadeness, Enigma
Makes you think of the night: Drawing a blank on this.
Makes you think of the fall: (autumn, or "from grace"?) blank again.
Makes you think of sex: A song whose title I can't recall off the Bran Van 3000 Discosis album.
Makes you think of love: The whole first Enigma album. Not unassociated with the whole first girlfriend thing.
Makes you think of breaking up: Volumes of Cure music. Disintegration (well, DUH) specifically.
Makes you think of being alone: Volumes of Cure music!
Reminds you of your best friend: carefully avoiding this.
Makes you think of things you've messed up: Yet more Cure music.
Makes you think it's gonna be OK: Actually, I don't think it's gonna be okay. And none of the music changes that.

Interestingly, the song that reminds me of my first girlfriend turns out to be the song that reminds me of my first college girlfriend, but my second girlfriend. Somewhat telling slip, perhaps, but I'm leaving it that way. My first girlfriend was into sorta MOR stuff.
