If honky Americans can reinterpret Chinese food into their own idiom (eg, Chow Mein), other ethnicities can transmogrify yet other foods.

Locally there's a good Indian restaurant which offers a sidebar menu of Indian Chinese for the local immigrants and students who prefer it to Chinese Chinese food.

There were several restaurants in Bangalore that offered Indian and Chinese food. I thought it was odd (perhaps they were run by Indians from the region close to the Chinese border).

No need to beat you; we'll merely force you to eat it.
