This is kinda cute: a graphical depection of your social circle and relationships therein. It's made me think about non-obvious data that could be synced between contact management toys such as my phone and the BBDB.

In January, the EU Commission issued a regulation on data concerning living conditions. One of the data options in the set in the latest regulation is "no friends". See, the EU /does/ care.
