Free speech. speech. Not "speach". I will happily admit I am one of those irritating people who feels that the force of an argument is reduced if its author is unable to spell, unwilling to use a spell checker, or both. Plus, I've often found that people who use this common misspelling are people who are using the phrase in some meaningless way that makes me want to ignore them anyway.
