Back when I was studying Prolog in college, I started writing a self-playing game of Tetris. Seems like I wasn't the only one who thought it'd be interesting. (I seem to recall reading elsewhere that Tetris is actually pretty hard AI.

My T-Mobile Sidekick used to have Tetris on it, but when they did a software upgrade, the bastards took Tetris off of it. ARG.

That's damned sucky, but it's exactly the sort of thing that some doomsayers (!) said would happen as long as Sidekicks were controlled by the network provider. I'm not saying "neener neener", because you might kick my ass.
