The peculiar logic of domain speculation (intentional or otherwise)

EDWARDS: I don't think they're willing to pay what it's actually worth, and I'm not in the financial position to just give away money. So if they were willing to pay what the Web site's worth, that's great, I'll give it to them. (link)
So, let's check that again, viewers: he registered the domain in 2002, after domain speculation had largely gone bust, so there's a good chance it was a $9.99 deal (or similar), and now if he gets "what it's actually worth", he'll "give" it to the Kerry/Edwards campaign.

Kylie Minogue's "Red-Blooded Woman" actually had me really worried that I liked a Britney Spears song until I found out who it was - and I don't watch music videos at all. (Well, ok, I watched one last night.) I kind of wonder if I have any idea what Britney Spears' actual voice sounds like - I get the feeling it sounds like whatever the producers want it to sound like.

Hmm, I didn't actually post this. I think Livejournal is getting a little confused.

Here is my original response:
Hmmm. I wonder what his bandwidth costs have been recently?

Yes, it was someone's response to a post I made on Saturday, one of the two that are now in that giant bitbucket in the sky.

Hey, if he feels that it isn't worth $150k, that's his problem...

That being said, i think that $200k is well within the DNC's reach.
