am I the only person who gets irritated by an interviewer who continuously interrupts the person he's interviewing, to the point where the interviewer spends more time asking questions than the interviewee spends answering them?

No. My ideal interview is where I ask the interviewee one question--"How are you today?"--and then let them rant at the tape recorder for the next hour and a half.

Fortunately, most of the people I've interviewed thus far like to talk.
