We were beaten by Australia in the RWC, but only just. This lines us up against France in the quarter finals, which is going to be a tough match, but not as daunting as it would have been a few years back.
After the way that we barely scraped by Fiji, Australia must be quaking in their boots at the prospect of a quarter final against Scotland. I have a nasty suspicion that a record defeat is looming. Best of luck against the French. Mostly, though, I'm hoping that the winner of that match will see fit to win against England.
Oh, and randomly stupid thought for the day: badgers are the prop forwards of the animal world.
