Continued Lounging
I rented out Swordfish and watched it while eating half a Hawaiian pizza. The pizza-eating was probably the better of the two items; Hollywood is incapable of making a movie with a dominant computer theme without somehow fucking it up. Every. Single. Time. Don't be fooled, mind you. This is an action movie; the computer angle is incidental (yes, I know. Incidental and Dominant. How do they do it?). It comes from the same team that brought you the recent Gone In Sixty Seconds, and even stars some of the same actors (Don Cheadle and Vinnie Jones), and funnily enough I found that movie lacking also (although I do own a copy of it on DVD, because I am a FOOLISH CONSUMER). I can't say what's lacking; it just feels like the pacing of the movie is wrong, I guess. There's also some poorly explained bits and pieces, and a little bit of that tiresome nationalistic flagwaving that somehow finds its way into movies far too often. I'm not sure I could even recommend this as one to watch with your brane switched off.

Maybe I'll come up with a Pizza Rating for movies. Spiro's: Excellent, Pagliacci: Good, Papa Murphy's: Okay, Domino's: Boring and tasteless.
Only problem is, some of that would only make sense to Seattleites.
