The staff at Dover Air Force Base, in Delaware, is being downsized by about 200 people, both civilian and military. This is the base you may hear frequently mentioned in the news because it's the military's main morgue; just about all the dead soldiers from conflicts or other incidents return to the States via Dover. It's creepy driving around the area and watching a C-5 come in, knowing that there is really only one reason for most of the air traffic in and out of that base. What's not clear to me is how the facility is seen as overstaffed when soldiers are still getting blown up.
