I suspect I would've enjoyed seeing that instead of the boring, drunken throngs I did see at Temple Bar. I think the current PC term is "little people."
Ya know, it wasn't til I got back from Ireland that I realized our local bar was a bit of a pun. There's an Irish-owned bar in my old neighborhood called Temple Bar. Best pizza in the area. I'm not sure if that means anything.
(For the not-in-the-know readers of Waider's LJ, the Temple Bar in Dublin refers to a particular area - which, amusingly enough, is characterized by a lot of Booze bars - and the word "Bar" in this context is an old Viking word meaning "road" or "way" unlike the boozey noun "Bar" which came to us via Latin origins.)
