In the previous job, I had limited space on my laptop for music to listen to and streaming the collection from home wasn't really an option, so I had a bunch of rips (not all purchased, either; some were "loaned" by a friend) on the laptop drive for the better part of two years which I listened to constantly in the office and occasionally on cross-country drives. These days I listen to my entire music collection (about ten days of music in total) off one of my office desktops, except for the periods when I'm on-call and need to be able to hear my pager going off. Which is a roundabout way of explaining why t.A.T.u. are still at number three on my most-listened to list, even though I wiped those MP3s more than a year ago.

(as an aside: hply sjot, Frantic Dogpaddle have a page on last.fm, and the picture is indeed the correct one? WTF?)
