more on that Crossfire show

This is how the Washington Post described it. I watched it twice and read the transcript, and I'm seeing an almost complete lack of the "shooting" and "snapping" the Post's writer keeps referring to. This is a pretty sad attempt to dress up something that frankly didn't need any dressing up.

I found myself wondering if the author was a Crossfire fan. I still haven't watched the clip, but while the transcript made the interview seem confrontational, I wouldn't have described it as snappish.

I like how "dick" becomes [male pride].

I didn't think Stewart was "snapping" at them at all. He clearly came on the show with something he wanted to say, and I think he succeeded in saying it despite the dick in the bowtie trying to get him to act like a performing monkey.
