Fully expecting the emergence of rival "Typing Pool Veterans For Truth" groups.

Okay, I follow my googlenews, yes I do, but I have no idea what this is about. Can you enlighten? Thanks!

See [livejournal.com profile] bitpuddle's entries here and here.

Or if you prefer: the memos that CBS News ran on 60 Minutes are allegedly near-identical to the same documents typed up in Microsoft Word. Arguments about the presence of typewriters capable of proportional spacing and superscript characters abound. It's good to see the real issues making the news.

D'oh! OK, yes, I did catch this story, but I wasn't on the ball when I read your entry.

THere was a fairly amusing Cheerleaders for Truth website a while ago, but it's only available on Google caches now.

Yep, also Pleasure Boat Captains for Truth. It'd all be terribly amusing if it wasn't for the fact that it's distracting people from the real issues. Assuming, that is, that anyone actually cares.
