So I'm not a comic book fan nor have I ever seen any episodes of The Green Hornet, but what really blows me away about the fact that the project's just been given to Kevin Smith is his telling of the story, in which he tries to turn it down and Harvey Weinsten refuses him that luxury. I've heard similar about Harvey W. telling Peter Jackson that he couldn't not do a trilogy when Jackson was trying to pitch a two-movie version of LotR. Sounds like a cool guy to work for, at least from the perspective of those two stories...

Thanks for the Green Hornet tip. I bought 50,000 shares at $8.57, missing the initial jump from $2.85 but still a very good deal if they're budgeting $70m for it.

Yeah, that bit with Weinsten is totally awesome.
