I prefer the old and inferior BBC RSS feed, wherein the headline conveyed the essence of the story. What am I supposed to make of the following?
  • 00:30BBC News | World | UK Edition / Prison 'picnic'
  • 00:30BBC News | World | UK Edition / Syrian mystery
  • 00:30BBC News | World | UK Edition / Cattle battle
They're not all quite that oblique, but things have definitely taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of weeks.

First I saw Halifax (at least, I think it was Halifax) doing a spoof of the Crimson Permanent gag (the building that turns into a sailing ship), and tonight in the gym I saw Studio B's 2006? track, I see girls (not entirely safe for work, due to, uh, running women and gratuituous camera angles...)

Huh. I guess SXEmacs is for all those people who believe that Emacs as a customisable editor from which you run your life isn't quite enough.
